Clear and straightforward terms. Musette is free, invite-only, and operated independently for endurance athletes who cook.
Not a Medical Device
Musette is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice. It performs physical arithmetic on endurance training work and food data. It is not a substitute for a licensed medical doctor, a registered sports dietitian, or a qualified coach.
Do not use Musette to manage a clinical condition. If you are pregnant, a minor, managing diabetes, cardiac issues, an eating disorder, or any history of disordered eating, please consult a healthcare professional.
What You Agree To
- Personal Use: One account per individual athlete. Do not resell access or use Musette commercially for coaching clients without authorization.
- Security Integrity: No automated scraping, denial-of-service attempts, or efforts to access other athletes' data.
- Understand the Estimates: Nutritional values derive from USDA and reference databases; workout energy comes from power meters, GPS devices, or head unit calculations. Use them as an informed baseline rather than laboratory-grade chemistry.
- Allergen Responsibility: You remain entirely responsible for what you purchase, cook, and consume, including allergen verification.
What We Agree To
- Zero Monetization of Your Data: No advertising, no trackers, and no selling or sharing of athlete data.
- Data Sovereignty: Instant, self-serve JSON export and complete account deletion with no waiting period.
- Honest Failure: When data is unverified or an external API is down, the app fails clearly and honestly rather than fabricating data.
